This week of Hardware and Network Fundamentals we learned about Packet Sniffing.
A “Packet Sniffer” also known as a “Packet Analyzer” is a computer program (or some type of computer hardware,) that can intercept and log traffic that passes over a digital network or a certain part of the network.
This program or hardware allows you to inspect certain traffic that goes on in your computer, (if you understand it of course.) for example; Somebody is on your secure WiFi and you didn’t give them the password, you can see (when you pull up the program and have it active at the same time they do something,) if they are actually using it.
Finally I posted some stuff on Diigo.com. Don’t know what it is go visit and give it a try.
*Psst: It’s a site where you can get some cool info sharing from other cool people, need to know something, ask, and get a direct link to a website!
